Lifman case postponed on humanitarian grounds

CAPE TOWN – Emotional scenes played out in the Western Cape High Court, a day after accused Number 1 Mark Lifman was assassinated.

The alleged underworld boss was gunned down outside a shopping mall in George.

He was meant to join his 13 co-accused in in the dock on Monday on several charges, including murder.

The case has been postponed to 11 November.
