Food safety | Free State hit by cases of food poisoning

FLOWER FOUNTAIN – The Vrije Sate appears to be the last province to be hit by cases of food poisoning.

Dozens of students are being treated for suspected food poisoning.

More than 40 students from Ihobe Primary School in Mangaung were hospitalized on Thursday after allegedly consuming items purchased from local spaza shops and vendors.

Mangaung Mayor Gregory Nthatthisi says stores and distributors must be held accountable.
