JOHANNESBURG – The acting Director-General of GCIS, Nomonde Mnukwa says they are looking into the root cause of food borne illnesses.
At the same time, inter-governmental interventions are in place to deal with symptoms.
She said this amid tensions in townships over the rising number of children failing ill after allegedly eating food from spaza shops and hawkers.
