WATCH | Spaza shops looted in Soweto over child deaths

JOHANNESBURG – A large police contingent has been deployed in Naledi, Soweto, following the eruption of chaos on Wednesday.

Angry community members took to the streets, closing down and looting foreign-owned shops.

This followed the deaths of five children from suspected poisoning from food bought at a spaza shop.

A sixth child is in critical condition in ICU.
