Soweto child deaths | Family asks for prayers as child recovers in hospital

JOHANNESBURG – The family of the surviving Soweto child is calling on people to refrain from spreading fake news, rubbishing rumours the minor has passed on.

This comes after five children died in Soweto after allegedly consuming snacks purchased at a local spaza shop.

Family representative Sibongile Segalo says the child is still fighting for her life in hospital but they remain positive and thank everyone for their continuous support and prayers.
