The seventh edition of the annual Killarney Motor Show, powered by the City of Cape Town and presented by Smile 90.4 FM, is set for Sunday, 3 November – and it’s going to be a cracker!
There’s non-stop action all day at the biggest motor show in the Western Cape with thrilling displays of drifting, spinning, off-road action, freestyle motocross with the daredevils of Ramp Rodeo, stunts and more, as well as live music headlined by Mark Haze and entertainment for the whole family, fuelled by a mouth-watering variety of fine foods and beverages on offer.
You can catch a ride in a drift car (are you brave enough?), race a kart on Killarney’s one-kilometre karting circuit and set your inner child free with rides for children of all ages at the fun fair.
There’s more than enough on the programme to keep you amazed and entertained from ‘Gates Open’ at 10am to ‘Last Call’ at 5pm, with more than 2 000 displays, vendors and interactive experiences providing all-day entertainment for the whole family.
Get your tickets online here, at R110 for adults, R40 for under-16s and free for under-12s, or at the gate at R150 for adults, R50 for under-16s and free for under-12s. WPMC members, as always, get in free on production of their membership book at the gate.
To add to your enjoyment of the Motor Show experience we are implementing new measures for streamlined access through the gates this year, with free on-site parking to ensure a hassle-free day at the Show for all our visitors and vendors.
The Killarney Motor Show is a showcase for the latest cars, bakkies, motorcycles and accessories, a celebration of Cape Town’s vibrant street-car culture with hundreds of customised cars on show and a gallery of lovingly restored and maintained classic vehicles.
But it is also so much more, with dozens of racing vehicles on display and hundreds of stalls offering a huge variety of motoring accessories and memorabilia.
The paddock behind the Clubhouse brings together hundreds of exotics bearing names such as Porsche, Jaguar and Alfa Romeo, but you’ll see race cars old and new, as well as restored family cars from bygone days.
The Killarney Motor Show thanks their partners for their support: The City of Cape Town, Smile 90.4 FM, Monster Energy, eFest, Gasket Magic, Car Care Clinic, Ravenol, Haval Milnerton, Nissan Milnerton, Peninsula Beverages and Club S2K.
