PRETORIA – The Gauteng Health Department has confirmed that all 47 pupils from Rapelego Primary School in New Eersterust, Hammanskraal, have been discharged from various Tshwane hospitals after being treated for suspected food poisoning.
Authorities are now urging the public to prioritise food safety.
They’ve emphasised the importance of proper handling and storage of both perishable and non-perishable food items.
In addition, the department advises against consuming food that has expired, even if it appears safe to eat.
