Discussion | Public urged to prioritise food safety

 

JOHANNESBURG- Gauteng health authorities are urging the public to prioritise food safety amid rising cases of suspected food poisoning.

WATCH | Hammanskraal pupils discharged after suspected food poisoning incident

This week, 47 children in Hammanskraal and 25 pupils in Bronkhorstspruit were hospitalised after they allegedly ate  contaminated food from local spaza shops.

Christina Mnisi, Deputy Director of Environmental Health at the Gauteng Department of Health spoke to eNCA.
