JOHANNESBURG – President Cyril Ramaphosa said that despite budget cuts and financial strain in the education sector, progress was still being made.
Delivering the keynote address at the 24th National Teaching Awards at Birchwood Hotel in Kempton Park on Saturday, Ramaphosa commended the nation’s educators for their resilience.
The event celebrated teachers who have continued to make an exceptional impact in the face of financial constraints and the looming threat of job losses.
