THEMBISA, Gauteng – Sixteen pupils from Emmangweni Primary School in Tembisa were admitted to hospital on Wednesday due to another suspected case of food poisoning.
After they ate atchar purchased from a fellow pupil, the students experienced nausea and vomiting.
The Gauteng Department of Education has launched an urgent investigation into the situation, despite reports that all of the students are back in good health.
