South Africa has shined bright at the 2024 Lifesaving World Championships. Athletes from the Western Cape achieved outstanding results, with four of them becoming world champions in individual events.
These athletes not only excelled in competition but also demonstrated their lifesaving skills, having to complete 20 hours of voluntary service annually.
