Weather warning | N3 reopened, road users diverted from Van Reenen’s Pass

JOHANNESBURG – The N3 has reopened and work is being done on traffic flow on the Van Reenen Pass.

The Road Traffic Inspectorate and N3 Toll Concession Route Services are now beginning to divert stranded road users from the area, via the southern lanes towards KwaZulu-Natal.

Recovery workers and rescue teams are still working to clear safe passage for stranded road users in the Swinburne and Montrose area.

Officials are urging patience as the next phase of the rescue and recovery operation is completed.
