WATCH | N3 closed from Estcourt to Harrismith as cold grips parts of South Africa

JOHANNESBURG – Bad weather has led to road closures in some parts of KwaZulu-Natal.

The N3 toll route between Estcourt and Harrismith in the Free State is experiencing snowfall.

Extreme weather warnings have been issued for Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

This includes disruptive snowfall and cold to cold and wet conditions in the Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and KZN.

Large parts of the country will experience significant temperature drops and heavy rainfall.
