Service delivery | Gauteng faces challenges delivering viable infrastructure

JOHANNESBURG – Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi met a delegation of the National Council of Provinces on Tuesday to discuss the state of provincial and municipal infrastructure in the province.

The briefing is part of the NCOPs week-long Provincial Week programme during which permanent delegates to the NCOP will return to their respective provinces to conduct oversight and engage with key service delivery points.

The Provincial Week is a high-impact oversight-driven initiation.

It aims to assess progress and plans to address challenges around incomplete infrastructure projects.
