Provincial commissioners applaud arrest after woman’s body is found near Blybank | Carletonville Herald

The Provincial Police Commissioners of North West and Gauteng, Lieutenant General Sello Kwena and Lieutenant General Tommy Mthombeni welcomed the arrest of the foreign national charged with the murder of Potchefstroom resident Nomsa Jass.

According to the Northwest SAPS’s spokesperson, Colonel Adele Myburgh, they indicated that no stone will be left unturned to ensure that justice is served.

The two Provincial Commissioners applauded the team members from the SAPS in Gauteng and Northwest for their tireless efforts that led to the breakthrough.

The body of Jass was found in the Blybank area last night and a Mozambican national was arrested for her murder.

“The suspect was arrested and charged with kidnapping, robbery and murder. Investigations into the matter, including searching of the other suspect is underway,” says communication officer of the police in Northwest, Captain Adele Myburgh.

The case if being investigated by the Carletonville Detectives.
