Penny Ntuli is recovering from hypothermia she suffered this weekend.
This after the Jozi FM presenter was stuck on the N3 for two nights due to heavy snowfall in KwaZulu-Natal.
Along the way, Penny shared live updates with her followers, from opening windows to check on other drivers to getting out of their cars to take photos and videos.
“Drowning in the snow. No visibility. Flat tires. Frozen windows. N3,” she wrote in one post.
Actor and radio presenter Buyani Masikane, who was in the same car as Penny, shared on his timeline that there was a moment when they left the car barefoot to check on others.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Bonga “Dude” Mcube said he was aware of concerns about Penny on social media but that she was getting the help she needed.
“She is not ready to talk because she is not feeling well. She has become very cold from the experience. She left the hospital yesterday to go home, but she is back in the hospital today. We cannot say when she will be discharged.”
