Over 2,000 Gauteng patients suffer serious adverse events

JOHANNESBURG – Gauteng hospitals have been in the spotlight recently.

Since the beginning of the year, they have recorded over 2,000 adverse incidents.

Over 7,000 cases of unintended harm to patients were recorded last year.

This has now prompted the provincial health department to implement measures to address the safety of patients.
