Helen Joseph Hospital | Phaahla to follow up on maintenance programme

JOHANNESBURG – Health Deputy Minister Joe Phaahla says the Gauteng health department promised to conduct a maintenance programme to fix the Helen Joseph hospital. 

He’s promised to check in with the MEC on Monday to see how the programme is progressing.

Phaahla was responding to a viral video viral showing the terrible conditions at the hospital.

Former broadcaster Tom London says his comments on social media are being confused.

He posted a video criticising poor conditions at the hospital.

He now says he received good clinical treatment, but was appalled at the attitude of health professionals.
