Gauteng Health MEC visits Helen Joseph Hospital

JOHANNESBURG – Former broadcaster Tom London has accused Helen Joseph Hospital of treating patients badly.

He alleges the doctors treat patients like cockroaches.

In a viral video, he’s revealed malfunctioning taps, peeling ceiling boards, and broken plug points.

But Gauteng Health MEC, Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko doesn’t quite agree with some of what he’s claiming.

Nkomo-Ralehoko said, “In all those days that he has been here he has been getting the treatment from the team. the COO, HOD and clinical managers have been briefing me about the days that they have been assisting him.” 

“He was well when he left, when he arrived he was not well. He received all the best treatment that he could get in any hospital including the Medi-Clinic now where he is. What he is getting there, we would get the same treatment.”
