Van Schoor, who co-founded the agricultural enterprise Gro4Africa with her husband, expressed her joy and gratitude upon receiving the award.

“I’m extremely excited and grateful at the same time. I feel blessed by God for this opportunity because I know that it’s by grace that I’m standing here,” she said.

Gro4Africa is about quality, service, and consistency.

“We are fresh produce growers in the agriculture sector. Growing crops and growing people are our passion. But most of all, we are about honouring God through our farming business,” Van Schoor added.

She also acknowledged the privilege of being recognised at such an event, noting the significance of the award for their company’s future in agriculture.

“We believe in good service delivery, and this award is an opportunity to grow even more,” she concluded, expressing her appreciation for the support provided by the agricultural community.

Van Schoor will represent Gauteng in the Toyota Agri SA National Young Farmer of the Year competition later this year.
