NJR Steel, Slim B&D and Ricasha to strengthen Gauteng’s road infrastructure

In a significant stride toward improving Gauteng’s transportation network, Slim B&D Construction, assisted by Ricasha Build, has been awarded the tender for the roadworks on the dual carriageway PWV5 (Winnie Mandela Road/R511) and the N14 in Diepsloot. This project marks a pivotal and much-needed development in the region’s road network. NJR Steel, one of South Africa’s largest steel distributors, with 26 branches across the country, is proud to be a key contributor, having secured the contract for supplying all of the reinforcing cut and bend steel for these bridges, totalling an impressive 275 t. Reinforcing mesh sheets were also supplied and manufactured in the same processing branch, situated in Brakpan, where the reinforcing was also cut and bent.
