Concerned residents of Ga-Sekgopo say the satellite police station in the area must operate for 24 hours.
This follows the recent discovery of the body of 27-year-old Morongwa Mootane, who went missing on Sunday, and her body was found buried in a shallow grave near the local river on Wednesday.
Her body was discovered after a male friend allegedly confessed to killing her.
A resident, Prince Nyathi says this incident highlights a need for present police officers because these issues have been persisting in the area.
Meanwhile, the aunt of the deceased, Rachel Mootane, says her niece was full of life, and they want justice to be served.
