Shots fired! Malema says ANC is enemy of people | Daily Sun

EFF president Julius Malema addressed a rally in Kimberley, Northern Cape, stating that the ANC is primarily responsible for undermining black communities.

He criticised the ANC’s decision to collaborate with the DA to establish a Government of National Unity (GNU), sidelining black-led parties.

During the EFF’s 11th anniversary celebration at the AR Abass Sports Ground, Malema highlighted that black parties in Parliament, including the ANC, EFF, and MK, hold 70% of the seats.

Despite this, ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa chose to partner with the DA instead of more progressive organisations.

“We’re going to fight the GNU. The GNU is our people’s enemy. Ramaphosa is our people’s enemy. The ANC betrayed the people of South Africa, and that’s why this GNU must fall. We will fight it everywhere,” Malema declared.

He firmly stated that the EFF would never join a GNU that includes the DA and Freedom Front Plus, condemning their historical actions.

“We will not sit at the same dinner table as the people who killed Chris Hani. We will not sit at the same dinner table with those who killed many young people during apartheid. The DA is the National Party – the National Party represents apartheid,” he explained.

Malema promised that the EFF will collaborate with BRICS to create jobs and industries to boost the South African economy. He also reiterated the party’s commitment to the insourcing of municipal workers in Tshwane, Joburg, and Nelson Mandela Bay metros.

Addressing EFF leaders across provinces, Malema praised the leadership in KZN for their resilience despite challenges.

“The comrades of KwaZulu-Natal fought hard. They didn’t anticipate the challenge from MK. We were focused on the adversaries uniting against us and overlooked MK. These comrades in KZN fought bravely; it was a tough battle with limited resources and the vastness of the province. They remain the leaders of the EFF in KwaZulu-Natal because they fought,” he said.

Malema noted that leaders in the North West and Limpopo must account for poor results in those regions.

“Some heads are going to roll from here. Some heads have already rolled in Limpopo, which is why you see new leadership. We will not reward laziness,” he warned.

He concluded by cautioning EFF members about the upcoming conference in December, urging them to remain vigilant against enemy agents attempting to infiltrate and divide the party.
