SA’s water crisis | Department committed to reducing service backlogs

JOHANNESBURG – The Water and Sanitation Department says it’s committed to reducing service backlogs.

This as several areas experience water issues, from low pressure to no water at all.

South Africa is one of the 30 most water-scarce countries in the world.

Yet, our average daily consumption is 218 litres per person compared to the international average of 173 litres.
