Released Pirates and Chiefs players joining Gauteng giants

Three-time DStv Premiership champions SuperSport United are close to announcing a former Orlando Pirates star and another one from Kaizer Chiefs.

The news dominated online platforms in recent weeks. The Sea Robbers surprisingly part ways with Vincent Pule, 32. According to SABC Sport’s Mazola Molefe, the Qwa-Qwa-born Pule is signing for United after completing his medical test.

“SABC Sport can reveal winger Vincent Pule is on the verge of putting pen to paper with his new club following his Orlando Pirates departure,” the report said. “The 32-year-old is understood to have completed his medical at SuperSport United and will move to the next step and discuss personal terms as he looks for a fresh chapter that includes reuniting with coach Gavin Hunt,” Mazola added.

Additionally, the same report says forrmer Kaizer Chiefs forward Keagan Dolly has already completed his move to Matsatsantsa, subject to an official announcement. “SuperSport have also recently concluded a deal to sign another experienced winger in Keagan Dolly and Pule’s imminent arrival will be yet another boost,” the report concluded.
