POLOKWANE – The Limpopo Netball Championships took place at Hoërskool Pietersburg on June 7 and 8. Teams participating were the u/14s, u/16s and u/17s.
The Tommies experienced an exceptional season as the u/14, u/16 and first team won bronze medals during the Limpopo Netball Championships.

• Olubanzi Mlangeni was selected as one of the top 35 u/16 players in the country to play trials for the South African team.
• Tommies representing Limpopo at the South African Schools Netball All Ages Tournament include Maite Manyashi (u/15), Tebogo Manamela (u/15), Orefile Magoro (u/15), Olubanzi Mlangeni (u16), Grace Mamabolo (u/16) and Tsakani Malungane (u/14).
• Pretty Manamela obtained her SASN C+ umpires grading at the SA Schools Netball All Ages Tournament.
• Marjonell van Deventer obtained her SASN C umpires grading at the SA Schools Netball All Ages Tournament.
• Kubura Abubakar was selected for the u/18 SASN squad: talent identification group.
