22 July 2024 – Mbekweni Cosmos beat CR Vasco Da Gama 1-0 in the final of the Hollywoodbets Men’s Regional League playoffs out in Plettenberg Bay, on Sunday 21 July 2024. This after a weekend of some great football from all the teams that partook in the regional playoffs.
Both teams have now gained promotion to the 2024/5 ABC Motsepe League in the Western Cape and will be looking to become a force to be reckoned with, while developing many more players who will go on to grow the game in the Western Cape.
