Battle over school feeding scheme tender heads to court leaving millions of Gauteng pupils hungry | City Press

Millions of Gauteng pupils are at risk of not being fed when the third term commences on Tuesday. This is a result of a dispute over the process of awarding the tender.

The decision over who should feed the pupils will be determined by judges as the Pretoria High Court is expected to hear an urgent application on 27 July. The application was brought by one of the disgruntled service providers who feels cheated out of the programme.
