The Western Cape’s newly sworn-in Premier Alan Winde has shaken up his cabinet with seasoned members and new faces appointed as MECs.

Winde was sworn in and elected as premier along with 42 other members on Thursday by Acting Western Cape High Court Judge President Patricia Goliath.

He was put forward as a nomination by his party as premier, while the ANC put forward Khalid Sayed as a nomination.
