A security guard-turned-drug dealer from Clanwilliam was handed two life sentences by the Western Cape High Court on Thursday for commissioning the murder of an alleged rival. Â
“We hear about escalating violence every day,” Acting Judge Nolundi Nyati told Ferlin Arries.
She added there were so many murders in the country, some people even encourage vigilantism.
