The sit-in for unemployed nurses in the North West has been postponed

A planned sit-in by about 200 unemployed nurses outside the North West Health Department (NWDoH) was postponed on Monday after talks with the department. The nurses had intended to protest over job vacancies and employment issues, hoping to draw attention to their plight. However, a dialogue with department representatives led to the decision to delay the demonstration. The nurses and officials are now working towards finding a mutually agreeable solution to address the nurses’ concerns. This postponement marks a temporary pause in their protest efforts as they seek meaningful resolutions.
