In a tragic incident in Xholora, Stutterheim, Eastern Cape, 35-year-old Siyanda Magagu has been charged with kidnapping and murdering his girlfriend’s 3-year-old son, Anganam Magxwalisa. Magagu allegedly took Anganam under the pretext of buying sweets but was later found hanged from a tree. This followed an argument with the child’s mother. The incident has shocked the community, as Magagu had been part of the child’s life since infancy and was considered a loving figure. Family spokesperson Babalwa Goroleki expressed disbelief and sorrow over the act. Provincial police spokesperson Lt. Col.
