Search is underway in Limpopo for DSNC teams | SuperSport

Limpopo is gearing up for its selection process for the DSTV Schools Netball Challenge (DSNC), set to take place at Hoërskool Ben Vorster in Tzaneen. Over 20 schools from across five regions will compete for spots in the national finals, scheduled for July 12-13 at Hoërskool Florida in Roodepoort. The DSNC, now in its fourth year, is a collaborative initiative involving Multichoice, South African Schools Netball, and the Department of Basic Education. It aims to offer both urban and rural players an equal chance to shine.

Elmari Craig, chair of Limpopo Schools Netball coaching, expressed her excitement about the tough competition ahead, hoping for an event that keeps spectators on the edge of their seats right until the end. Highlighting the province’s push to get more schools, especially those in rural areas, active in regular netball competitions, Craig emphasized the importance of game experience. She cited Hlabi Secondary School’s national victories as a motivational beacon for other schools in Limpopo.
