A Free State man no longer faces a murder charge after his four dogs mauled his girlfriend to death on private property.
The man was arrested on Tuesday, a day after his 28-year-old partner Nomathemba Kweleta was killed in his garden by his two pit bulls and two rottweilers.
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) said on Friday that the case has not been processed because there is no prospect of a successful conviction based on the regulations.
