Mandla Ndlovu sworn in as Prime Minister of Mpumalanga

“Our people have spoken and we have received the message that they desire sustainable quality services,” stated Ndlovu, emphasizing the community’s demand for clean water, improved sanitation, better road infrastructure, a safe environment, and quality healthcare. He highlighted that these goals can’t be achieved through mere speeches, urging action beyond comfort zones. In his upcoming state of the province address, Ndlovu will detail the provincial government’s priorities, including enhancing administrative efficiency to deliver essential services.

During his first hundred days, Ndlovu plans to visit all municipalities to understand their issues better and provide assistance while respecting their autonomy. He pledged to lawfully intervene if services are found lacking. Additionally, Ndlovu announced his cabinet members: Sasekani Janet Manzini (Health), Landulile Chathrine Dlamini (Education), Thulasizwe Simon Thomo (Public Works, Roads and Transport), Brenda Khethiwe Moeketsi (Social Development), Nompumelelo Evidence Hlophe (Agriculture), Bonakele Amos Majuba (Provincial Treasury), Makhosazane Christine Masilela (Economic Development), Fana Vincent Mlombo (Culture, Sports and Recreation), Khesani Jackie Macie (Safety, Security), and Speed Katishi Mashilo (Human Settlements and Cooperative Governance).
