Limpopo woman to appear in court in connection with uncle’s murder

A 38-year-old woman from Limpopo has been arrested for the murder of her 69-year-old uncle, Solomon Mmaphuti Mokwele, during an argument. The incident occurred on Monday in Ledubeng village, Senwabarwana, where the two were living together. According to police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, the argument escalated into a physical confrontation, during which the woman, reportedly struggling with mental health issues, struck her uncle on the head with a stick. Mokwele collapsed and succumbed to his injuries. Police discovered his body the following morning, lying in a pool of blood. Emergency medical services pronounced him dead at the scene. The woman has been detained and will face murder charges in Senwabarwana court.
