Phakathi Patrick Stoffel, 30, and Jampo Lucas Khabane, 28, instilled fear in the Meqheleng community near Ficksburg over a span of several months, from September 2021 to May 2022. The duo’s actions left residents in a state of constant anxiety and disrupted the local peace. Their reign of terror during this period marked a dark chapter for the Meqheleng area.
