High temperatures in the Northern Cape are anticipated to elevate fire hazards, according to the South African Weather Service. In Gauteng, temperatures will be moderate to warm with a very high UVB sunscreen index. In Mpumalanga, conditions are expected to be fine, ranging from cool to warm, with the Lowveld experiencing particularly warm temperatures. Limpopo will see warm to hot weather. The North West and Free State will have patches of morning mist but will otherwise be warm. The Northern Cape, especially along the coast, will see morning and evening fog with partly cloudy skies, fine and warm to hot inland. Western Cape will have coastal morning and evening fog, but will otherwise be fine and warm to very warm. Eastern Cape will have coastal fog and be partly cloudy, becoming fine and warm inland. KwaZulu-Natal will be partly cloudy in the south, transitioning to fine and cool to warm conditions. Winds will vary across the regions.
