The Northern Cape Bowls (NCB) Fours Championship saw Beaconsfield Park Bowling Green Club triumph in both men’s and women’s divisions. Sixteen of the best teams competed fiercely in Kimberley last weekend. In the men’s category, David Paulse’s team clinched the title, defeating CP Mathewson’s team in the final. Youngsters Kieran Kelly and Keegan Minopetros proved instrumental in their victory, with team members David Paulse and Scotty Elliot, also notable for previous achievements.
The women’s division was dominated by Marietjie van den Berg, Maryke van der Westhuizen, Lize-Marie van Lill, and Anna-Marie van Zyl from Upington, who emerged as champions. In the men’s section, runners-up included CP Mathewson’s team, while the women’s runners-up were from Sishen. The competitions took place at Sol Plaatje West End and Beaconsfield Park, with the final rounds held at Beaconsfield Park.
