It has been a four-year journey to justice for a Gauteng woman convicted of murdering two lovers and her own son, and burying them in the same shallow grave outside her front door.

But at the final hurdle, sentencing procedures at the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria on Friday were delayed when Pamela Ncumisa Selani, 47, claimed to have an upset stomach.

Judge Papi Mosopa was about to hand down his sentence when Selani complained that she was feeling ill. Mosopa ordered an adjournment for investigating officer Abednago Baloi and a female court orderly to take Selani to the Steve Biko Academic Hospital to see a doctor.
